Aluminium dance floor rental: buying guide for professionals

Introduction

The aluminium dance floor rental is essential equipment for professional events: weddings, corporate parties, concerts or TV shows. Unlike wooden or plastic dance floors, aluminium offers durability, stability and ease of assembly that appeal to rental companies and organisers. This technical guide is aimed at professional buyers (rental companies, integrators, stage managers) who want to invest in a reliable dance floor compatible with their existing structures.

Why choose an aluminium dance floor?

Aluminium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and does not deform under the effect of humidity or temperature variations. For rental, this means less maintenance, a longer service life and quick setup. Anodised aluminium edges protect the sides and ensure a professional finish. The anti-slip surface with grooves and 45° bevelled edges guarantees the safety of dancers and technicians.

Technical characteristics of the dance floor

Our aluminium dance floor is designed for intensive use. Here are the verified specifications:

  • Edge material: aluminium 铝合金
  • Dimensions:
    • Straight bar: 9150 mm × 100 mm × 22 mm
    • Bevelled bar: 1015 mm × 100 mm × 22 mm
  • Surface: anti-slip material with grooves and 45° bevelled edges (表面做有防滑槽,斜边45度角线切割加工)
  • Aluminium bar finish: oxidised aluminium (anodised aluminium)

These characteristics ensure excellent grip, wear resistance and a neat appearance. The dance floor is supplied in modular elements that are easy to assemble and disassemble.

These load data come from TÜV Rheinland tests and must be respected to guarantee the safety of the installation.

How to choose the right structure?

The choice depends on the span and the load to be supported. For a standard-size dance floor (for example 6×6 m), a square truss structure WRS-29 or WRS-30 may be sufficient if the spans are less than 6 m. For larger spans or heavy loads (sound system, lighting), choose the WRS-40, the WRS-4060 or the WRS-52. Triangular WRT-29 truss are often used for light and aesthetic structures.

It is essential to calculate the total load (dance floor weight + weight of people + equipment) and to check the load tables. Our teams can assist you with sizing.

Buying advice

  • Check the certifications: our factory is ISO 9001:2015 certified and our products are tested by TÜV Rheinland.
  • Prioritise modularity: standard lengths (50 cm to 400 cm) make it easy to adapt to all configurations.
  • Plan for transport and storage: aluminium is lightweight, which reduces logistics costs.
  • Request a detailed quote: specify the dimensions, quantities and load constraints to obtain a suitable proposal.

FAQ

Q1: Is the dance floor compatible with all types of truss? A: Our dance floor is designed to be assembled with aluminium structures. It is recommended to use truss from the same series (29, 30, 40, etc.) to guarantee optimal compatibility of the ends and connectors.

Q2: What is the maximum permissible load of the dance floor? A: The permissible load depends on the support structure and the configuration. The dance floor itself is designed to withstand intensive use, but it is imperative to respect the load tables of the truss used. For specific loads, consult our engineers.

Q3: What are the manufacturing lead times? A: We do not communicate standard lead times because they depend on quantities and customisation. Contact us for a personalised estimate.

Q4: Do you offer accessories (steps, ramps)? A: Yes, we offer a range of compatible accessories. Consult our catalogue or contact our sales department for more information.
